1. Competition results of drivers
What: the name under which a driver was entered in a competition, the nationality given in the results, the class, the finishing place and the scores, and the date and venue of the event. From this we calculate ranking points and positions.
Where it comes from: the public result pages of crawlerresults.com, published by the event organisers.
Why: to publish a world ranking of RC rock crawling drivers, based on results that are already public. To show each driver under one name, we match different spellings of the same name to one driver profile.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest, and that of the RC crawling community, in a transparent sports ranking (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Social media links and profile photos: the ranking team may note a driver's public Facebook or Instagram profile to tell apart drivers with similar names. The links themselves are used internally only and are not published. When a linked profile has a public profile picture, we copy it once, store a small square version on our own server and show it next to the driver's name in the ranking. Your browser loads it from this website, never from Facebook or Instagram. Drivers without a photo are shown with their initials. If you don't want your photo shown, write to the contact address above and we will remove it.
How long: results stay in the ranking period described in the How It Works and are kept afterwards as the history of the ranking, for as long as the ranking is run.
Your right to object: you can object to your results being shown (Art. 21 GDPR). Write to the contact address above; we will then stop showing your name, unless there are compelling legitimate grounds to continue.
2. Visiting this website
Hosting and delivery: the website is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. When you open a page, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser type, to deliver the page and to protect the site against attacks. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare acts as our processor. Data may be processed in the USA; Cloudflare relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses for such transfers.
No tracking: this website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and it does not load fonts or scripts from other companies.
Saved view: the ranking page remembers the class and ranking list you last looked at, and the light or dark look if you chose one, in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can clear it in your browser settings.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to data portability, and to object (Art. 15–21 GDPR). To use these rights, write to the contact address above.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. In Hungary this is the Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH), Falk Miksa utca 9–11, 1055 Budapest, naih.hu.
